Noble Gold vs Goldco: How to Compare the Two

Updated September 12, 2026

Noble Gold and Goldco are both established names in precious-metals retirement marketing. Because dealer terms can change and some economically important pricing is quote-based, a responsible comparison should not manufacture a permanent winner.

Important: This is general education, not individualized investment, tax or legal advice. Precious-metals prices can rise or fall, and self-directed IRAs can involve dealer spreads, custody, storage, administration and tax rules.

Start with the same transaction

Ask each company to price the same type and approximate quantity of IRA-eligible bullion at the same time. Then request a current written schedule for custodian, storage and transaction costs.

Noble Gold's public fee advantage

Noble Gold currently publishes an $80 setup charge and $275 annual Gold IRA amount. That makes part of its cost structure easy to identify before a call. You should still verify the dealer spread and current account partners.

What to ask Goldco

Request Goldco's current minimum, setup/annual/storage costs, custodian/depository options, exact purchase quote, indicative repurchase quote, and terms for any promotion. Keep those answers in writing where possible.

Do not let a bonus decide

If either company offers free metal, fee credits or another incentive, calculate the offer inside the total transaction. A larger promotion can accompany a higher product markup; only the complete economics tell you which quote is stronger.
